Stern Center for Research Computing

A Stern user account is required to use the SCRC computers.

1. To apply for a Stern user account contact the Stern IT helpdesk with the following information.

• Sponsor

• NYU Net ID

• Date of birth

• Departmental affiliation

2. Request that a ticket be created and assigned to Research Computing so that you can be added to the “grid” group in Hermes.
If you are not in the “grid” group, you cannot log into the research servers.
