Computing services include,
- assisting researchers with The SCRC GRID – a distributed cluster of servers used for processing of user jobs; See Stern GRID usage reports.
- providing backed up permanent storage or temporary work space.
- helping with specialized high performance computing technologies such as GPU processing for computationally intensive problems or Hadoop processing for distributed data processing on very large data sets.
- hosting both physical and virtual servers for special projects.

the New York University Information Technology Services (NYU ITS) Research Computing which maintains a high performance computing environment for computing projects that are especially demanding.
For web publishing use eureka.stern.nyu.edu.
Eureka is hosted offsite by a very secure and reliable hosting service and as such it has very high availability even when other research facilities are unavailable.
